The 5 Star Pro - Flat - Swiss Handle is our best-selling hand tamper.
The innovative levelling plate keeps your tamping level by sitting on the top of the filter basket as you press down on ground coffee. The amount of pressure you apply is controlled by a pre-calibrated spring inside the tamper itself.
- Level Tamping: The innovative leveling plate ensures an even tamp every time by resting on top of the filter basket as you press down on the ground coffee.
- Consistent Pressure: Achieve precise pressure with the pre-calibrated spring inside the tamper. It includes three interchangeable springs (calibrated springs of 7kg, 10kg, or 15kg.), allowing you to customize the pressure to your preference.
- Optimal Depth: Press down to the base for consistent tamping depth and the best results.

The 5 Star Pro comes fully assembled, and features:
- A base (default size is 7.5mm)
- A star-shaped levelling plate
- A calibrated spring (15kg standard spring), calibrates 10kg spring (red) and calibrates 7kg spring (blue)
- A levelling plate spring (to return the levelling plate to its starting position)
- A cleaning bag

- For single filter baskets or baskets with a diameter of less than 51mm, we recommend selecting a 5mm thick base.
- Custom base diameter sizes can be machined upon request. If your desired size isn’t listed in the dropdown menu, choose the closest available size and specify your preferred size in the notes section at checkout.
